Smart AV Home Systems has been serving the KwaZulu-Natal community for over twenty-five years. Our founder, Mr. CJ Archery, also known to our clients as Chris, launched the company in 1993 as Budget TV, a TV repair business.
Mr. CJ Archery has been in the audio visual industry for 20 plus years and has come from humble beginnings working with companies like Vision Hire and Early Bird TV Services.
For two decades, we operated successfully as Budget TV, building a strong reputation and a loyal customer base.
Five years ago, we recognized the growing demand for smart home solutions and decided to incorporate this into our services. Thus, Smart AV Home Systems was born, marking our expansion into the Home Automation field in KwaZulu-Natal.
Today, we are a certified dealer of the Nice/Elan home automation brand and are accredited by Multichoice for all DSTV Installations. We have also gone through various courses with our Audio and Visual Suppliers to keep up to date with modern technology.
Our services now include Home Automation, Audio Visual – DSTV, whole house Audio and Video Distribution, and whole-house Wi-Fi mesh network.
